With curated assignments spanning across 10 units of material, personalized to the distinct learning needs of middle and high schoolers and including 10+ different types of media, Spacetime Archives' Astronomy & Astrophysics curriculum works to engage and engross students in a field of study traditionally not covered in conventional schooling.
Physics, as a field that has historically been highly exclusive and reserved for certain demographics, is expanding in diversity and methods of thought. With these changes in representation, it is important to also consider and repair the systemic barriers that have been placed on race, gender, and ethnicity in the field. Spacetime Archives' intersection of ethnic studies and physics allows students to learn holistically what was previously black-and-white.
